| The fish is a rainbow trout, about 5kg. I
caught it in Victoria last November. It was a beautiful sunny day and I saw the fish swimming along the bank (we use Polaroid sunglasses) I cast a small nymph imitation towards it and watched it take the fly and swim off as Istruck. After 15 minutes of exciting fight I held this beautiful fish briefly in my hands, before releasing it to swim away unharmed. It was a fantastic experience. |
